My phone does not detect my Fitbit,it is able to detect other Bluetooth devices,I want to correct the time

I never had the problem until the latest Versa update. I have no problem syncing to other devices. I tried rebooting and it synced with bluetooth on my Android Galaxy 9 phone so I thought it was fixed. I went out for a walk a few days ago with my exercise set to walk and it kept saying "connecting" and never connected. Bluetooth could not detect it. This a.m. it was not synced so I tried rebooting again but it still wold not connect.
This kind of problem is why I hate to install updates. Far to often it solves an existing problem but creates now ones. Doing a factory reset is not a way to have to fix a problem that causes a user a lot of work.
