Hi

This is the third time this has happened when the watch just switches the run mode off, but this time I couldn't tap it back onto run as the feature was missing.  When I stopped running and pushed in the button, only then could I see the run button.  Anyway I am with Discovery and I need to do 30 minutes but it shows I stopped at 21 minutes...... so annoying....

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @LuluWilson. I apologize for the delayed response and will be glad to assist you with your Charge 2 exercise inquiry.

I know how you fell and will help you out. Has this happened before? Did your exercise track with Smart Track?

I recommend restarting your device while I get your response.

Keep on visiting the forums.

Thanks for getting back to us @LuluWilson. I apologize for the delayed response and will be happy to assist you with your restart inquiry.

To restart your Charge 2:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  4. Press and hold the button to restart your tracker for 4 seconds. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
  5. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

Let me know if you have more questions.
