My Fitbit Charge 3 will not turn on. Although plugged in, the screen is black. It does vibrate; and strangely, continues to vibrate for the length of time the button is held in for.

I have tried holding the button in for 10 to 15 seconds while plugged in to attempt a reboot, which has been unsuccessful and yet, continued to vibrate constantly for those 10 to 15 seconds.

 

Does not sync either. 

 

Any suggestions folks?

Mine was the same way and I did a reset as suggested by plugging into a charge cable and then holding in the button for 8 seconds. I got the smiley face and unplugged but now it always has the smiley face and is still unresponsive.

Hi Wayne,

 

Tried this, Fitbit simply continues to vibrate constantly for the time the button is held in for i.e. it's just vibrating in my fingers for 8 seconds. Completely unresponsive when not plugged in to the charger too.
