Last week (Fr 2 Aug 2019) I noticed no HR data/graph after my run when I set up the GPS activity on my app/iphone, however it will work if set on the tracker, but this is not a good method as it is not easy to see if the timer on the tracker is stopped or started while outside - much better to do this on the app/iphone. There is already a thread open on this matter:
[ Exercise tracking in app - no heart rate data ]
but I am guessing it is not being attended to by FitBit - as it was started 2 years ago, but most of comments there are from the last few days.
Any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.

My wife and I have exactly the same problem as you describe. We both use charge 2 on android phones.
The problem started a week ago we think.

Mine stopped displaying heart rate data on the exercise tab on July 30, 2019.
