My Charge 3 SE will not stay connected to GPS when I go out on a bike ride. It connects initially, and I start riding, only to get about 100 metres down the road and it disconnects. If I leave it running on a 75km ride I might be lucky if it records 8km of it.
I have completely removed and installed the iOS application on my iPhone 8 Plus. It has access to the phones GPS set as ‘Always’ in the settings. All day sync is switched on. I have even factory reset my Fitbit, removed it from my account, and set it up as new again. It still refuses to hold a GPS connection and is now completely useless for the purpose I purchased it for, which is to track my rides with heart rate etc. I am now getting fed up of problems with it and am considering buying a Garmin instead.
Anyone else having this same issue?
