Getting active zone minutes while sleeping

Hi brains trust,

getting a lot of zone minutes on a new charge 4 including spikes while sleeping that do not match up to my heart rate graph at all. If zone minutes is based on heart rate how is this possible.
updated the app today, restarted the charge 4, no difference so via settings discarded the zone minutes.

I’ve had this problem for years and I no longer communicate with FB support as they don’t use the data or the community discussion to give user’s confidence that problems are acknowledged, on a list/log, and are scheduled to be dealt with.

Same with my Versa2, just happy it’s happening with others - very reassuring

My wife and I both have Fitbit Sense that register high active zone minutes every morning between one and 2 AM. The heart rate monitor doesn’t show any elevation for either of us, but the active zone minutes spike the same for both of us.

I’ve had this for some years.
I spent several months communicating with FB support and providing chronological evidence showing the early morning active minutes being added retrospectively to the record once active minutes are actually earned.
FB support were useless - providing irrelevant information, not acknowledging a problem with their product (it has to be the app), and clearly they have no intention of putting this on a log to investigate and resolve.
At least the spurious active minutes are not counted in the daily total!

I was so glad to find your post today. My wife and I recently joined a gym so began to focus a lot on Active Zone Minutes.  I was concerned I might have a heart problem (it’s in my family). But I did notice that the spike didn’t show up in my HRate. Felt better when I noticed my wife was experiencing the same spike so figured it must be a glitch.

Adding my voice to the chorus. I'll randomly see significant increase in zone minutes showing while I'm asleep.  However neither the heart rate graph, nor the sleep graph show this data.

Why do all three charts use different data?  Hard to keep an eye on what your heart is doing.

It’s frustrating. And as you say, all three charts are showing different numbers, which one should we trust? Also frustrating that Fitbit really don’t care about these issues that have been reported by users for years! Makes me wanna boycott. This is the last watch I bought from the brand, that’s for sure. I even got it replaced by Fitbit but it’s the same on all of them…

New charge 5 doing the same. Same time 1-2am last night 158!!!  Nothing on heart rate graph.
