I’ve have the Fitbit for years and the RHR usually updates in the morning and stays that same number throughout the day. Today, however, almost every hour it’s been changing by a beat. Is this normal?

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and the details that were shared in your post, seems odd that your Charge 2 heart rate tracking feature is behaving in such way. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? In the meantime I receive your answers, please restart your device and check the steps that are specified on our help article: How do I improve the accuracy of my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device?

Hi. It started yesterday and continuing today. I’ll follow your
instructions and see if this corrects the situation. Does this mean the RHR
should update in the morning and stay the same number throughout the day?
