How do I view yesterday's steps?

I was too busy yesterday and wasn't sure whether I reached my 10,000 steps goal. I am sure that data is somewhere. I don't see it in the app. Is it possible to view that data?

at the top of the app, you should see

<             TODAY                 EDIT

just press the < to view info from previous days

But the steps are not shown. It only shows the Dashboard. I am looking for the steps logged on the watch.

I could be wrong but your screen should have Steps as one of the circles above. If not, then you need to EDIT at top right corner and to include it. Then either use the < or tap on the Steps to display info for last seven days.

Someone suggested fitbit.com to change it from distance to steps. Can't change in app

This is on the mobile app screen, and not your Charge 4 tracker device. Your tracker only displays steps for the current day.

You can go to the web app dashboard and look at your activities screen at https://www.fitbit.com/activities. Then select the steps view, and change the date to the desired date. You can also view the metrics for a specific activity in the mobile app, or dashboard, if was a specific activity like a walk or run.

Would be nice if information i want is in the app dashboard or have a link to it to Fitbit.com. Fitbit.com definitely have more...

Right now it is kind of defeating to have to go to 3 different places (my watch, myvapp, fitbit.com) to see things.

@A--P it is in the app dashboard and on the fitbit.com dashboard. There shouldn't be anything on your Fitbit device that isn't in the mobile app, which I believe is their primary focus for displaying data (my guess).

That said, the mobile app for Android and iOS are different, and the dashboards for the mobile app and fitbit.com are fairly different in what they display.

I know this is an old post, but I had the same problem, and when I saw the first suggestion that showed number of steps, I realized it had to do with what you were tracking. My circle tracks calories. So if you want to see the number of steps then you need to change what you track from calories to step score from whatever else you are tracking to steps.
