Before I start I would like to mention that I have tried everything I can find online in terms of cleaning, wearing on other arm, wearing sensor on inside/outside of wrist, wiping away sweat etc.
Since I am very into my fitness and i am getting into bodybuilding, knowing my heartrate is very important to me so that I can track my maintenance calories, sleep and workouts.
When I first got the charge 4 it was great and I loved it, but recently i’ve noticed big issues with the heartrate monitor.
During everyday life jt seems to be fine (then again I dont tend to look during the day), but as soon as I start working out it just goes crazy.
For example, when i’m doing a treadmill walk at the end of my workout I aim to keep my heartrate in the fat burn zone (115-140bpm) so i’m constantly checking to make sure I am in this range.
I know that my heartrate is approx 130bpm at 13.5incline and 3.5 speed but when I check it jumps between 90-140 randomly with no real pattern.
i am, needless to say, getting really frustrated with this and would like to know how to fix this!
