I walk every morning and wanted to track my activity. I use the Charge 2 exercise mode but it does not have walking, so I used Treadmill instead for a month. I wanted to also track the path I took as I change them every day. I changed and used Bike instead to track my path of walking for a week. When I review the logs, I noticed the max and avg BPM, calories burned are much greater as compared with tracking using Treadmill. My walking pace is the same and here are the differences:
treadmill: avg speed=3.0 miles, calories burned=326, avg bpm=107, max bpm=123
bike: avg speed= 4.1 miles, calories burned=631, avg bpm=159, max bpm=190
why the big differences and gaps??

Why not add the walk to your Charge 2 @david4500
It looks like you already added treadmill.
See the second question of the FAQ
How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device?
Also while in help. Why not download the user manual.

Hi Rich,
Thank you for the reference link. I'm interested to see if I can add the 'Walk' exercise on the watch when I tap on the exercise 'menu'. Currently, on my Charge 2 it has: Run, Weights, Threadmill, Workouts, Elliptical, Bike, Interval Workout. Assumed if added when I tapped and started it, it will record my route in walking with the GPS on the phone along with the typical stats. Suggestion?

Yes. my suggestion is to follow the link to the exercise FAQ above.
Question one explains which exercises can be tracked.
Question two explains how to Add, Remove, or reorder the list of exercises.
Question four explains hot to use the GPS while recording an exercise with your tracker.
