Heard a bit about this but was wondering if it was standard practice regardless of age.  I know Tile do this.  A great way of getting around the fact that the battery is replaceable.  Without this, there is no way I would upgrade from a tracker to a more expensive smartwatch.

Why do you say the battery is replaceable?  Do you mean just the opposite?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
