My Fitbit Charge 3 has lines on the screen making it illegible. I have tried to reboot etc but to no avail

I have the same and have tried all the suggested fixes and nothing has worked...this is the second time this happened to me and last time I updated the device and it went back to normal but now those lines just won’t go away

I have had the same problem for about a month now and now my screen has started to go dim too every few hours or so and can't see anything at all. I have tried the 8 second rest loads of times and now have tried the long 15 second version several times and nothing has changed???

Mine started doing the same on Thursday and by Thursday night, the screen went black and hasn't come back on since. It is still tracking my steps and sleep, but shows nothing on the screen...

well if you've only owned it for under 1 year you're lucky, and they will replace it -- under warranty. otherwise you're gonna be just out of luck (and maybe get a small discount to buy a new one)
It's sad, but that's how fitbit works now.... these are wearable devices that Fitbit deems are disposable 😞
