Bought fitbit charge 3 a year ago and for half the year it has not worked. First wouldn't sync. Did all resets that were suggested. Then clock showed wrong time started 1 hour slow now 12 hours slow. Because of sync problems won't change and I've tried to on dashboard. Spoke to cu service and they were no help. No faith in this leading company. Over a hundred pound lost.

You mention pounds, are you in the UK? Before Brexit, warranty was 2 years in the UK. You may want to look into the current situation and contact the shop where you bought it.
