Have had the charge 3 since december. I upgraded from charge 2 because I was so happy with it when it died I wanted to continue with fitbit.
First issue that arose is a dead pixel line across the top of the tracker. It doesn't really affect the reading of the info so it could be ignored if that was the only problem with it.
Second I had such a hard time getting it to connect and sinc to my phone. A lot of troubleshooting and a chat with tech support I got it to connect. BUT I can get notifications from any app fitbit, facebook messenger, airbnb, and receive phone call notifications but no matter what I do I cannot get a text notification. Everything is connected all settings in fitbit app and phone are correct but nothing. This has never worked. I have Phone x for reference.
I have dealt with these 2 problems from day 1 and have not been impressed but everything else still works and tracks so have been using it. The most recent issue has made me take it off and give up out of frustration. The screen sensor that allows you to check the time etc when you raise and turn your wrist has stopped working. Essentially i have to press the side button every time I want to check the time or step count or whatever info that is displayed on the screen. This is very annoying wondering if anyone has any suggestions for any of these problems and yes I have rebooted fitbit, disconnected and reconnected, restarted phone, completely deleted charge 3 from my account factory reset and started fresh.... NOTHING WORKS

I am also experiencing the failure of the wrist tilt sensor, with the display not activating if I press the side button or tapping on the display.
This is following multiple instances where the display would not light up at all, only resolved by performing the reset while on the charger. This issue has not occurred for several weeks, but did overlap the issue with the wrist tilt sensor failing, so I have reset the Charge 3 and it had no impact on the wrist tilt issue.
The actual tracking and syncing with my phone seems fine.
