Synced on the 16th of December then didn't sync

again until 30th of December and now hasn't synced since then tried everything what else can I do or is it absolutely knackered

Hopefully you haven't tried everything yet else it really is knackered.

The usual things to try are:

restart phone
restart fitbit using this procedure: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1186/
restart fitbit a few more times (it doesn't always work)
"forget" the fitbit in the phone's bluetooth settings
go through fitbit's troubleshooting guide at: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1866/
if none of that works then contact customer support: contact.fitbit.com
