O2 Sensor

I cannot get the O2 Sensor to work.  I have rebooted my watch, uninstalled, reinstalled & updated my APP and still no O2 tracker.  I DO have a PAID Premium membership.

Anyone know what I can do to get this to work?  I have sleep apnea & bought this watch specifically for the sleep tracker (which works) and the O2 tracking.

Let's check for sure which Fitbit model you have.  You posted this in the Charge forum.  The Charge was discontinued many years ago, and does not have the O2 sensor.  Do you perhaps have a Charge 3 or Charge 4?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I have the Charge 3.

Thank you for your fast response.

Do you get a sleep score?

Yes, I get the sleep score.  Everything seems to be working except no O2 sensor tracking info. I don't see anything at all about it in the app or my online dashboard at Fitbit.com.  It's just not there.

I have the same problem to solve.  Charge 3 working well sleep tracking.  No O2 results. So I am eager to see how your inquiry is resolved.  Thanks for getting the inquiry started.

I had this same issue and Googling and a stab at customer service via FB message lead me to understand that the O2 capability was there on the Charge 3, but the availability was not, as in certain users had it turned on and others didn’t. It was never clarified which certain users or why. (Maybe the special edition users?) Anyway, this is what I received most yesterday from Fitbit customer service via email. Although it seemed to imply that I would not get the data until a system update was done (something over which I had no control and they couldn’t offer a timeline), the EOV data was there this morning. 🤷🏻‍:female_sign:

“The update of your Fitbit device is required by the system, it's an automatic process and can't be done manually. In this case, we recommend you to wait until the system itself ask for the update. This can be the reason you're not receiving the EOV estimation.

However please do the following steps:

  • Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  • Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  • Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  • press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
  • Unplug your tracker from the charging cable

Then, try a longer restart:

  1. Connect your Fitbit device to the charging cable and press and hold the button for 15 seconds.
  2. It will turn on and shows a battery icon. You will feel two vibrations: a short and a medium vibration. Than it will turn off.
  3. Then it turns on again and shows a progress bar, it will shortly vibrate again. Then the progress bar completes.
  4. Remove the Fitbit device from the cable. It will turn off. After it turn off, plug it in again.

The previous steps can help with your EOV issue. Nevertheless, the update of your device is also needed in order to receive the EOV estimation.”

Hope this helps. Good luck!
