Screen cycles from one screen to another

So, two weeks ago after yardwork my Charge 2 is crazy. As someone else said: The screen just cycles from one screen to another. Sometimes it rests at the “BPM” screen for a while, then it starts to say “Notifications ON” before showing “Notifications OFF” and then it goes to something new. The screen stays active like this until the battery is depleted. I recharge it and the same thing happens.

I have read replace it. Is truly scrapping it and getting a new Fitbit the only answer? Can it be reset?

Hi @kidell, welcome to the Community Forums! Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

I appreciate the details that were shared in your post, certainly your Charge 2 is not working as the way we designed it. Let me share with you that there's a process to restart your device, to do so, please follow the next steps:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  4. Press and hold the button to restart your tracker:
    • For Charge 2—press and hold the button on your tracker for 4 seconds. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
  5. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

Keep me posted.

Thanks. I have reset it twice. I also updated the app on my phone. It continues to behave the same way.
