Hi @Harriets-son, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums.

Thank you for the information you've provided regarding the problem with the screen of your Charge 3 that is not lighting up.

Before considering other options, please make sure that you've tried the standard restart procedure described here and that you've followed the steps listed here below to complete the long restart procedure if you continue to experience the same problem:

  1. Connect the device to the charging cable.
  2. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  3. The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration.
  4. The device turns off.
  5. The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  6. Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  7. Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.

In addition, please try changing the clock face option on your Charge 3, this has been useful for some users as well.

Please keep me posted on the outcome.

Tried that several times. Tried to rapidly start and stop "sleep" and
suddenly had a fully lit time. Maybe I had put it in sleep mode and didn't
know it.

Hi, thank you for sharing this update @Harriets-son, it's good to know the screen is now lit. Sorry for the late response.

The screen of the watch it's dim when the Sleep Mode is selected on the quick setting, as you've mentioned.

Let me know if you experience any difficulty again with the display or if you have further questions.
