Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

hi there,

i just bought  2 charge 2 for my family members. one of my family members has a medical condition, so we thought we could share heart rate data daily and automatically as a safety precautions.

but, i can't figure out how to do that.  as far as i can see, we can only share steps, etc.

please confirm if there is a way of sharing heart rate data.

thanks

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @happytippy! I'm afraid to say that there's no way to share your heart rate data.

I'd recommend checking out our Feature Suggestion Board if you haven't already. This is a space where Community users can post features, ideas, and suggestions that they'd like to see in future Fitbit products, accessories, and software and top-voted suggestions get relayed to our product team for review.

I'd also recommend up-voting and commenting on Add Heart Rate data to Export (and more than 30 days of data) feature suggestion since it is very similar of what you're looking and asking for.

Let me know if there's something else I can assist you with.

Honestly I think you are missing a trick here.

Your fitbit continuous heart rate monitoring csn save lives.

Whrn heart rates at rest go up or down it’s a potential medical problem. You could sell a device that allows patients to share data in a real time with their doctors or in hospital as inpatients so that things could quickly be done.

Does fitbit even do alerts to the wearer if their heart rate is getting too high. It should.

Do I feel like a sucker. Heart rate data sharing was the whole reason I bought this. So I spring for the HR version for what???

I also bought this to track heart rate of a loved one who is far away. Very disappointed it's not available.  Perhaps there is another watch that has this feature built-in.

Is this something that has been released yet with the newer fitbits? I think this could be very helpful for my of us.
