Stopwatch stops timing

I use the stopwatch for my own use to track length of exercise but part way through it seems to stop timing. It doesn’t do this all the time but is happening more and more. Any ideas?

Hey @Chris2018, welcome to the Community! What exercise are you tracking with your Charge 2 and how long is it? I'm asking because the best way to track your exercises is by using the multisport feature (not the stopwatch) which you can manage from your Fitbit account. For further instructions, please review this help article: How do I track exercise and activity with my Fitbit device?

Thanks that is helpful. I have also used it for other things, such as timing the length of my child’s nap time(!) but it still to cut out part way through, particularly if has been running for over an hour.

Thanks for your reply @Chris2018! Well, as far as we know, it should't cut after an hour. Restart your Charge 2 to try to fix this. Just follow these instructions:

1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You'll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker's display. Your Charge 2 will begin charging.
4. Press and hold the button on your tracker for four seconds. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, this means the tracker has restarted.
5. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

Let me know how it goes!
