Sync Problem

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I changed my phone recently to a Samsung Galaxy A40 and now my device is not recognised by Bluetooth. How can I sync my data going forward can I use the app on my PC if so I don't seem to have the necessary icons to do this.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Not much good if I can't sync my data anywhere.

It may be that your new phone is not supported by fitbit. The A40 isn't on the list of supported devices at www.fitbit.com/devices This could mean that it has been tested by fitbit and shown to not fully work, or it could just mean that it has not been tested and may, or may not, work. However, I did a search of the community for posts about that phone and there are others reporting issues.

Do you still have your old phone? If so, make sure that it doesn't still have a connection to the fitbit in its bluetooth settings as this could be blocking connection to your new phone.

On your PC you won't be able to sync via the web dashboard but if you are running Windows 10 and the PC has bluetooth then you should be able to download the fitbit app from the microsoft store and sync via that.
