Up until noon today my fit bit showed the correct time asleep. Now it has changed to the amount of time in bed. Even though it shows how much time I was awake or restless it doesn't deduct from the time in bed. It has adjusted my sleep time for everyday since I started using it. I keep a log so I know its now incorrect. Is anyone else having this issue?

Yes, I experienced the same issue, see the screenshot below. Although many restless/awake periods appear on the diagram, it writes "2 times restless" and "0 times awake". The sleeping time calculacion fails with the told 2 min. awake/restless value. Calculating it back from the bedtime, awake and time asleep data, this should be 31 min. This is clearly a bug in the software!

After resetting my Fitbit 5 or 6 times it finally went back to the correct times. If yours hasn’t corrected itself try resetting it. I’m finding that I have to reset it every few days to get it to sync now. Hope it works for you

Back to my Fitbit recording how long I was in bed instead of how long I was actually asleep and I have tried restarting it quite a few times but no difference. Why is this happening?

My did the same thing. Yesterday the week showed 5 plus hours but today it had changed 7 and 8 plus hours.

Same here, the new update shows time in bed not time asleep. Even if you do the math of total sleep minus the restless / awake time math doesn't work out. They need to fix this. Knowing total time in bed is pointless.

I wonder if Fitbit is going to do anything to fix this. Basically worthless the way it is now
