My Fitbit Charge 4 has been having syncing issues on and off for at least a month. In Dec 2023, I had an overseas trip and had to spend a lot of time trying to sync my fitbit for the correct time. Eventually I deleted the device from the app on my Pixel 6 phone and then added it again, which took a lot of attempts. Now that I am back in Australia, I have the same issue. I ended up deleting the device from the app, but I have been struggling to add the device back in the app. After putting the pin, it doesn't finish the setup. I have attempted all recommended troubleshooting steps.
Could someone please help with this? It has been extremely frustrating. I noticed there were several feedback on syncing issues from last month. As of now my fitbit is useless, showing the wrong timezone and not in sync with the phone.
I had planned to buy Google Pixel watch in 2024, but now I am losing trust in the Fitbit app.
I use Pixel 6 Pro which is on Android 14 and the latest Fitbit app.

It's good to see you participating in the community @Ashwinub.
Thank you for taking the time to share this situation experienced with the Charge 4. Sorry to know the inconvenience.
Before considering other options, I'd suggest you confirm that the device is charged. Sometimes during large trips, the batteries tend not to be fully charged. If in any case you think the Charge 4 is not charging, see: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
In addition, please confirm that you have followed the suggestions of this article: How do I set up my Fitbit device?
Please try to perform the process avoiding being nearby other Bluetooth devices.

I have mentioned multiple times it is Charge 4 model not Inspire. I will try again but i don't think charging is the issue here. I am able to fully charge my device. It is the latest update of the app. When is a new release coming out?

I have managed to setup my Charge 4 device in my Pixel 6 Pro. However syncing is still an issue. At this stage, I have been unable to sync my fitbit for 2 days now. When is a new version of the app releasing which addresses syncing issues?
