Before you ask.. yes, I reset my phone (Galaxy S9+) and (in as much as you can restart it) the Charge 2. It's been working great for years, and now today it's not syncing. So I removed the device from both the Android app and the Bluetooth list on my phone.
Now, no matter what I try, The phone scan for Bluetooth devices won't find the Charge 2. The app fails to find it immediately. Other devices scanning for Bluetooth in the area also don't see the Charge 2.
Is this a planned obsolescence? Or is there something that I'm missing to force the Charge 2 to be discoverable?
Thanks,
Kevin

Hi @KevinRemde, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.
Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.
Keep me posted, I'll be around if you need anything else.
Best AnswerHi, my fitbit charge 2 has also slowly stopped syncing but now it is not recording any data and the app wants me to manually add my sleep and activity! The 2 things I most want information about. It hasn’t recorded/synced any data for nearly a week. Please help 😢
Thanks Ricardo,
I've looked into all of the notes and troubleshooting. Restarts, removal, attempts at re-pairing, and using the apps on the phone and PC; none are working. It just appears that the Charge 2 has stopped being discoverable via Bluetooth.
Any other suggestions?
