I noticed a strange heart rate spike two weeks ago and again tonight. It lasted five minutes and was in the 150 range. It then went back to what is more normal for me. I noticed it again tonight and it followed the same pattern. I was putting my son to bed and not active when it recorded the spike. I was wondering if this kind of thing has happened to anyone else? I feel like it has to be inaccurate. I did not feel my heart pounding or notice any other symptoms. But thought it was strange that it happened twice in the past two weeks.

Hello @KF08, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! Heart rate may be affected by any number of factors at a given moment. Movement, temperature, humidity, stress level, physical body position, caffeine intake, and medication use are just a few things that can affect your heart rate. Different medical conditions and medications can impact your heart rate. However, if you see that none of these factors apply to you, then just try to restart your Charge 2 by following the instructions below:
1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You'll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker's display. Your Charge 2 will begin charging.
4. Press and hold the button on your tracker for four seconds. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, this means the tracker has restarted.
5. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.
Let me know how it goes!

Thanks. I’ll try to reset it. I have had my Fitbit for over a year and have never seen any kind of heart rate spike like that other than twice this month. It just seems like it had to have been a glitch.
