I've had 3 FitBit devices, just received a NIB CHARGE 2. While setting up account on app, wants me to pay for a brief period, unknown why, for $3.99, or 2 other prices. Without paying, I get no further, can't pair my FitBit to my phone.......VERY FRUSTRATING!!

Hi @Randikay the Fitbit app is FREE. You go to the Apple or Google store to download it free.

@Randikay Nice to see you in the forums again. Thanks for reaching out about the Fitbit app. Please note that the Fitbit app is free to use, as @Odyssey13 explained. There is indeed one in app purchase, but that is optional and it is for the Fitbit Premium program: What should I know about Fitbit Premium?. However, you do not need to get Fitbit premium to use the app. Some features on the app are only accessible if you have Fitbit Premium though.
