My Charge 2 battery is only lasting a day. I contacted FitBit Support and I can get a replacement or money off an upgrade but one of the T&C's reads 'After you've set up your device, your current device will stop working'. Is this the case if I was to give my old one to my mum? The lack of battery life drives me mad, but it might be useable for her as she wouldn't use the Fitbit as much as me. It seems a waste to just throw it away and it's not very green!

When she sets it up on her account with her own email it will work fine.
But she does need to keep it charged as when not charged it will totally ruin the battery
