Plugged phone into charger... Reset it three separate times.... Synced with phone which says tracker is up to date.... Do not have computer to plug into... For for Christmas so cannot return/exchange.... It is a charge 2.... Had the same problem with charge HR one when new year's ago but could update and reset with phone to fix the problem.... Have it set to dominent wrist and hand because I cannot comfortablely wear on my other one due to injuries..... Advice please?

Your fitbit tracks flights of stairs by measuring changes in air pressure through a small hole in the back of the fitbit. If this hole has become blocked then it will stop tracking flights. Try gently cleaning it with, say, an old toothbrush or a can of compressed air. Do not poke anything into the hole though as this could cause further problems.
If that doesn't help it might still be worth contacting customer support - even though it was a gift - to see if they can help: contact.fitbit.com
