I bought my Charge 4 in late September last year, and the heart rate monitor has never worked properly. I can be jogging on my treadmill and it will drop from 125 bpm to 89 bpm within a second with no change in my pace, or suddenly spike to 179 bpm for a few minutes and then just as suddenly drop below "zone" rate, again without me doing anything to cause the change.
I've posted about it here before with no resolution, and finally gave up...I have a bit of a workaround where if I distort my hand into different positions or hold my arm a certain way the whole time it will stay reasonably steady in the "zone". BUT, within the last month I've noticed that even when my heart rate is in the zone to log zone minutes, the heart icon will go dark and it won't count those minutes. I can watch for a five minute span and it will be in the right heart rate zone for those five minutes, but when I check my zone minutes nothing has changed, the minutes weren't counted. The heart icon flickers and goes dark, lights up again and counts a few minutes, and then goes dark again. I'm getting extremely frustrated, is anyone else experiencing this?

Should I be posting this somewhere else to get actual assistance from someone?
