I cannot pair my charge 2.

I have tried restarting my phone. Resetting mg Bluetooth. Reinstalled the app. Resetting my charge 2. Removeed and reconnected a new device. Nothing works so far. It's very upsetting that my charge 2 just stuck on a wrong day and wrong time. 😞

Hi @MGG we really need a little more info.

Why was the Charge 2 removed from your account?

What phone do you have?

You say that you can't pair, that is correct. We need to setup the tracker through the Fitbit app.

When performing the setup

At what step does the failure occur?

Any error messages?

I have a Google pixel phone. When I tried to pair my charge 2 with my
phone, it said it cannot pair the device due to incorrect pin.

Thanks

The question still remains unanswered. Are you doing the Add Device to your Fitbit account through the fitbit app?

Once the Charge 2 has been added to your Fitbit account. The Fitbit app will ask for permission to pair the charge 2.

Removing a non syncing device from the Fitbit app will never fix the issue, and I'm most cases simply dig a deeper hole to climb out of.

This is an ongoing problem with Charge 2 trackers on Pixel phones. Fitbit is aware as there have been many threads on here since like July I think is when the initial problem started for a lot of people. The mods here will link you to some basic troubleshooting that won't work so what the community found out was that if you have another device like an iOS or Windows device, or maybe another Android device that isn't a Pixel then you can remove the tracker from your account and re-add it from that other device. Just go through the normal steps and when it finishes and syncs, turn Bluetooth off on that device and go back to the Fitbit app on the Pixel and try to sync.

I've found there are still some things that aren't acting correctly but if you just want it to pull your data then it does that. But the app on Pixel phones is in a weird state and it's gone 100% unaddressed for at least the last half of 2020. Here was the last thread that gained any traction but you'll still see no response from Fitbit.

Yes I am doing the add device on my fitbit app. I put in the pin it showed
on my fitbit but it still say it is not working.

My fitbit is charged. I have no other fitbit nearby. I have turned off and
on my Bluetooth.

Thank you very much for your help. I have tried connected my fitbit with
another phone and it works. I have my time and date back.

Now I know it's a problem with my phone not my fitbit. I have fitbit/
Google will manage to fix this bug.
