Hi .. I just want the community to know that #fitbitcheats ... I bought a fitbit 13 months back. The button stopped working. I have been told that I am not eligible for warranty AND that no repair is possible. I need to buy a new fitbit. I was never informed that this was the case during purchase.

I’m sorry you are disappointed, @shantanumukerji . Fitbit does not cheat, as you suggested. The warranty is available online to anyone who wants to check it out prior to a purchase. Hi. I live in Singapore. I’ve bought the device from an authorised retailer ... Best Denki. This has been verified by Fitbit customer service.
The problem is not the warranty period. The issue is not letting buyers know that Fitbit can’t be repaired after the warranty period. They should let us know that after 12 months any defect will render the product useless.
I would not have bought this or paid what I did if I was told that after sales service is not possible and that the entire product must be discarded if anything goes wrong.
.... Hope this makes sense.

Hey !
You’re not going to believe this. After my social media complaints they resolved my Fitbit remotely. They knew how to solve the problem !
