I did observe that , the charge-2 is not computing the steps  properly. Even if you travel by car for a long distance , the device computes the steps and distance covered as if by foot. This issue needs to be addressed in the software AI programming.

While driving @bhushanavn the bumps may add some steps. You can mark your driving time as driving to remove these steps, or use travelbit.

 

For accuracy you want to take a 100 and 200 step test while on a walk.
