12,854 Steps All At Once.

I had walked exactly 9,720  steps when my Fitbit Inspire 2 synced. In that split second my steps increased an additional  12,854 steps all at once with a new step count of 22,584. When I checked the Fitbit dashboard it indicates at exactly 12:30 PM my step total increased by 12,864 steps. Anybody how to fix this problem?  Thanks

The only thought I have would be to mark this minute as driving
