No need to panic.  You can change it to 24 hour format.

See this help page link:

How do I change the time on my Fitbit device?

Scroll down the page a bit to "How do I change to a 12 or 24 hour clock?"

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thanks for your help but I've already tried all this before asking for help, it doesn't work as what its asking me to do I dont have the option to choose if that makes sense

Can you be more specific about where you "don't have the option"?  Did you get to the fitbit.com dashboard and find the gear icon and "Settings"? Did you find "Personal Info"?  Did you find 'Advanced Settings" and "Clock Display Time"?  Did you click on "Clock Display Time" and see the option for 12 hr or 24 hr and select 24 hr?  The did you scroll down a bit and click the blue "Submit" button (easily missed)?

For future reference, We cannot know what you have already tried.  Not everyone who asks for help has already searched the help pages so we have to assume not.

@Notagadgetgeek   It sounds like you are trying to change the clock on the app.  You have to do this on the fitbit.com (web) dashboard.

If you get the time, please vote for and comment on this Feature Suggestion.  This issue comes up with every new model release and every major gift giving holiday.

Are you sure you are looking at the fitbit.com dashboard, not on your phone?

Thanks guys, that was tricky for me too. Even following your advise I was stuck until I realised that on an iPad you have to slide to the top right corner to find the settings cog!
