Auto syncing not working with Inspire 2

Fitbit decided that we do not need auto syncing in the app. Now you must manually sync. This is a smart idea when I am walking or running and want to keep tabs on my progress. I look down and try to sync because fitbit wants to save a couple of bucks. So what if I run into traffic or a tree or down a hole. Fitbitch saved a buck. Layoff time.

Hi there, @HoosierMike. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. @Guy_ Thanks for adding your comment.

I've moved your posts to the Product Help Forum to clarify the information you received yesterday. All data collected from your Inspire 2 automatically syncs to the Fitbit app throughout the day, even if you don't see the option "All day sync" on the Fitbit app. As it was mentioned before, if you need to manually sync your Fitbit all the time it's best to check the recommended steps for syncing issues.

You can vote for this existing request too: Option to see "All day sync" in the Fitbit app, as it was before. To learn more about how Fitbit decides which suggestions get developed, visit our FAQs.

Hi @HoosierMike - actually the app is autosyncing by default, so you may have a watch/phone issue - see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Fitbit no longer allows the app to autosync, at least with Inspire 2.  This came from customer service last night.

This is the answer I got Monday night while chatting with customer service at Fitbit:

With regards to the automatic syncing, the auto sync with the Fitbit app is removed.
We're constantly striving to improve Google and Fitbit products and services, and we appreciate all of the input we receive from our customers. The best place to make your voice heard is the Feature Suggestion board on our community.

You are telling me this is not true.  The only way my Fitbit syncs is when  I manually do so.  I had to ask "what changed" from customer service 3 times before I got an answer.  What is the truth?  This is the classic runaround.  I found someone else with the same complaint and she said she was offered a discount on an upgrade.
