Cannot update time without a cell phone?

ANSWERED

The reason I bought my Fitbit tracker was it did not require a cell phone.  Losing the dashboard was bad, but now I can't even update the time?  Surely you can figure out a way we can at least update the time.

@SAT2021   You need a smartphone or tablet to continue to use your Fitbit.  The phone/tablet must support Android 11 or iOS 16.4 or higher.

Hi @SAT2021 the Fitbits have always needed to sync to get the date and time. I'm not sure how you can check your stats without a cellphone. Is there a friend or family member who might let you have the app on their phone in order to get that time set?

We used to have a dashboard, but they took that away a while back, much to the dismay of many.

@SAT2021   You're right.  The Inspire HR could sync with the Fitbit app for Windows 10 when it was released.  But Fitbit deactivated the Windows 10 app almost three years ago.  You can use the Fitbit app on a wi-fi tablet.  A cell phone isn't required.

We have been asking for the ability to set the time manually, in the app, without an internet connection for many years.  Google doesn't seem to have plans to do this.

Just asking, how have you been syncing for the last three years?

I put my Fitbit away after the dashboard disappeared and have been using a Garmin until I couldn't stand all of the problems with it anymore.  I dug out my Fitbit the other day only to find once charged the time is wrong with no way to fix it.  So disappointed.  I don't own a tablet either, so not sure what to do next.

Well then they need to remove this from their ads promoting their product.  "Syncs with iPhone 4s and later, iPad 3 gen and later, Android 5.0 and later and windows 10 device."

@SAT2021   Fitbit discontinued the Inspire HR in 2020 when it released the Inspire 2.  Fitbit removes ads when it discontinues a device.  Any ads you see now are from third party sellers.  Fitbit has no control over third party sellers.
