Changing Inspire Handedness

I just purchased an Inspire HR. I am left handed, and so wear it on my right hand with the button facing away from my fingers (as illustrated in the instructions). With this setup the clock is upside down, and the wake function doesn't work unless I flick my wrist in the opposite direction, pointing the clock down to the ground.  The Wrist Placement setting is set to "non-dominant", but I cannot find a way to set the Handedness setting that other people keep referring to. Is this not an option on the inspire? What options are their for left-handed people?

Worn on right wrist, it should be have the button to the hand side.  Any instruction pictures showing button away from fingers I expect are showing it on left wrist.  So you just have to turn it around.  There is no way to make the display switch for different hands.

As for the 'handedness' setting, the dominant or non-dominant question takes care of that.  On some older trackers, I think it used to ask which handedness you were, plus which wrist you wore it on.  That was just to determine if is it was worn on dominant hand, so the 2 questions are now handled in one.  The use for dominant wrist question, however determined, is to try to filter out some non-step movements usually done by dominant hand, such as brushing teeth.

Hopefully you can soon get used to the button difference.  It's actually healthy to train your nervous system to learn a slightly different way of doing things.
