Considering the Inspire HR

Hi gang - started out with FitBit with the Fitbit One which worked great for my my walking and stair climbing needed to control T2 diabetes.  Worked great - lost 50 lbs with it!!  Got to the point after a few years the battery would no longer charge.  Upgraded.  Battery on the upgrade died.  Upgraded again to the Versa - now IT's battery won't charge.  It seems the FitBit batteries wear out soon, so instead of spending 200-300 on something that will have to be replaced in 1 - 2 years, I was looking at the Inspire HR.  I am interested in just a step counter / sleep tracker as I don't have the stairs to climb any longer.  Does it appear the HR would be a good choice for me?  How does the HR charge - sort of like my iPhone via a magnetic dock with no connections, or does it have to plug into something?...

Thanks for the read,

Mark

@SunsetRunner   First, congratulations on your health success story!  What an accomplishment!  With respect to both the Inspire and the Inspire HR, many users who need reading glasses complain that the font on the Inspire/Inspire HR is too small and too hard to read.

If you like getting the sleep stages that you got with your Versa, then you would want the Inspire HR.  The Inspire model gives sleep patterns, not sleep stages.

Just like your One and your Versa, all Fitbits have a charging cable that has a USB connection to a computer,  USB wall socket, etc.

This isn't an exhaustive comparison, just some initial thoughts.
