Counting too many steps

Inspire seems to be counting more steps. I'm a swimming pool service guy so my arms are always moving. I DO walk alot, but would this be counting my non-dominant hand movements as steps?

Hi @TheKidd Yes if the arm movements are strong enough it probably counts at least some of them. As you wear it on your Non Dominant arm you can reduce the sensitivity of the step counter by recording it is being worn on your Dominant arm, while continuing to wear it on the Non Dominant. The other option is to put it in your pocket and it wont count arm movements but the steps will still be accurate. You will lose other functions though, like Heart Rate, exercise tracking etc.
