(Sorry I couldn’t come up with a more succinct title- I’ve been searching and searching trying to find information pertinent to my question but with no luck. Maybe it’s a weird question but here goes…)
Recently I set my Inspire 2 to *not* prompt me to move every hour on Sundays. It doesn’t, and indeed my hours with 250 steps are pretty low on Sundays.
But every other day I’m very diligent about getting my 250 steps an hour, for 9 hrs. I’m “9 for 9” at least 5 out of 6 days, and the day that isn’t perfect is only off by one hour (8 out of 9).
But then I get my Weekly progress report from FitBit and my “Average hours with 250 steps” is 8 out of 9. :(. (I know, isn’t that close enough? Well, no - not for a Type-A overachiever like me 😂).
When I had all 7 days set to “prompt to move,” even if I had a less than perfect day, my weekly average was usually 9 for 9. Soooo…
Does Fitbit count all 7 days (in that “average hours with 250 steps” calc) even if one day is “turned off”? I thought it wouldn’t be included in the calculation, but I’m getting the feeling I was wrong. 😞 (doesn’t seem fair, but who ever said life is fair? ;).
Does this make sense?
Thanks—
