- Who Voted for this post?
I have had my Inspore HR for 5 days.
i have measured my footsteps as per the instructions, chosen the correct arm I wear the watch on (same as my old Fitbit Alta) and everyday I have a lot more steps than I used to carrying out my usual daily routine? I watch the app count 2 steps each time I take one?
Also- the swim function. Although it correctly records how long I swim it also counts footsteps during that time, why?
I have read some people have spoken to tech support- how do I reach them?
Thank you.

I hope you’re having a great day @Eric29!
Thanks for posting your inquiry about the accuracy of your Inspire HR. Sorry to hear that you've tried multiple steps to fix the issues with your steps and swim. You've done an excellent job looking for the correct steps.
At this point, I'd recommend wait until you get the information from our team, as I've requested them to create a case on your behalf. You should soon receive an email from Customer Support at the email you used to register with the Community forums.
I'll around in case that you need anything else!

I spent 30 minutes with a tech last night to try and correct the humongous number of steps the Inspire is giving me. Nothing helped! Returning to store tomorrow .

They have advised it is a fault they are aware of that the watch records footsteps while swimming and to delete my swim! I want my swims recorded.
I have asked what I have gained by buying a new watch as my old Alta worked perfectly fine!
Waiting on a response.
Hope you managed to return yours ok.
