My inspire 2 is massively over counting steps because I drive for a living and it’s counting lots of steps when I’m actually driving. You used to be able to add driving as an activity and it would then remove the relevant steps but it no longer does that. I can log a driving activity for several hours and the step count does not change. I could live with a small over-count but it’s doubling my actual daily steps! Any solutions?

Hi @emmaliddon and welcome back to the forums.
Thank you for your message. I'm sorry to hear about this situation regarding your Inspire double-counting your steps.
We have found that for some users, putting the Inspire in clip mode while driving has worked to avoid counting those extra steps.
It's worth a try.
The steps are explained here: How do I navigate my Fitbit device?

I can confirm that putting it in clip mode does NOT stop detecting movement. Why can't Google just put drive mode back in the activities?!?
