Exercise tracking

My InspireHR just makes up my workouts. I went from 2 workouts this week to getting “credit” for two workouts today. I only worked out once today. I don’t know how or why it added a workout but I don’t like it.

Also, when working out it doesn’t recognize a lot of the exercises I do - box jumps, A HIIT workout that combines cardio and weights. Doesn’t recognize assault bike/ airbike (that’s both  cardio and strength).

Kind of annoying when I have to manually add my exercises afterwards.

Hi @Redlionny It sounds like you are relying on the tracker auto recognising your activity. Smart Track only recognises a limited of exercises as you have found out (mostly step based ones). I find the best way to track exercise that isnt auto recognised well is to use the exercise shortcuts. Scroll down on your screen and select exercise, then scroll through the shortcuts on your Inspire HR. If you want different shortcuts to those on the Inspire then you can add and remove shortcuts in the App on your phone. Go to your account, select Inspire HR and scroll down to Exercise Shortcuts. For any activity not on the shortcuts list use the 'Workout' Shortcut and you can change the name of the activity in the App afterwards.

But what about the fact that it’s giving me more days that I worked out than I actually did. I worked out 3x this week not 4. It said 2 times until I went to the gym and did 1 workout. Then I had 4 workouts according to the app. So something is amiss.

So what did it record while you were at the gym? What was the other workout, and what were you doing at the time it thought you were working out?

It didn’t record anything. I had to manually put in my workout. I put in 15 minutes “cardio workout”. It was a HIIT 15 minutes. It seemed to give me a credit for walking 18 minutes yesterday. Lol
