It would be extremely useful to be able to re-order (and remove) the pages shown when scrolling up and down, in the same way that the Exercise Shortcuts can be edited.
When scrolling up:
- the first screen shows the date, time and battery: this is pretty useless because the first two items are already shown on the main clock face
- the second screen shows the steps taken: again, this is pretty useless (for me) because I have that showing on the main clock face
- the third screen shows the Active Zone Minutes: frankly, I don't care about that, and want to remove it or move it down
- the fourth screen shows the progress towards 250 steps per hour: this is what I would want as the first screen
Etc.
Basically, I have to scroll 4 times to get to the first screen I actually use, and even further to get to other screens like the sleep data. Fitbit should provide an update to make it easy to re-arrange and remove the screens.

Agreed.
This was a feature that was available on older models and can't understand why it wasn't made available for the inspire 2... There are definitely screens that I would use and would like to reorder others.

I just received my fitbit Inspire 2, upgrading from the Alta HR. It drives me CRAZY having a bunch of screens on my fitbit that I don't want and don't need. It is not just unnecessary to have these screens all show in an unalterable order, it is EXTREMELY ANNOYING.
The only screens I want to see when scrolling down are HR (first, as it is most important to me), maybe steps, and maybe days exercised.
PLEASE make these screens OPTIONAL, to match what is in the app, the way the Alta HR works. And make it EASY TO CHANGE THE ORDER of the screens.

😠This isn't going to happen any time soon.😠 When the Inspire/Inspire HR was released in March 2019, this feature was requested almost immediately. I was coming over here to see if it had been implemented yet, see if it would be "worth" upgrading. You have answered my question with a big N.O. There are several hundred posts in a couple topics requesting and upvoting this option. The short answer is, "Thank you for letting requesting a function we have no intention of implementing."
In fact, with the most recent firmware update (Sept 2020?), MORE screens were added! The notifications screen (which if I could move it to AFTER exercise I'd be happy) and, going the other way, the stoooooopid screen with battery/time/date.

Hi @taylor999 - I’m afraid it is not possible to manage the apps that appear on the Inspire 2 when you scroll down from the clock face. @Marry-Anne - we were not able to manage the apps on the previous Inspire either. I like the idea of at least making the apps optional. I’ve posted the suggestion myself to the feature suggestion forum. As soon as it is approved by the moderators, I’ll come back here and provide a link so you can vote for it.

@SunsetRunner thanks for your reply. I was able to customise screens on my charge (yes that far back it was possible). Then moved on to Garmin cause the charge kept falling apart and the Garmin products weren't. I understand that it wasn't on the previous inspire but it was a feature of older products and it's a shame that Fitbit hasn't include something so simple (and that is important to so many people). Shame that they're competitors do it on their devices and Fitbit isn't.

I would love this, as well as horizontal/landscape messages/notifications, and the option to turn OFF message content, like with the Alta.
But don't count on Fitbit doing this. They can't even address the new issue of Alta HR not syncing reliably anymore. I bought this Inspire 2 before learning that my Alta HR isn't broken-- everyone's having sync problems with Android 11!

Just upgraded from the Alta HR as well and wishing I hadn’t. Not being able to customise the scroll order anymore is annoying, and the silent alarm on the Inspire 2 is a lot more aggressive as well. Might go back to my old Alta

Agreed - being able to remove apps and screens that you have no intention of using, or at least being able to re-order them so that the ones you want get priority, seems like a pretty straightforward ask. Hopefully the fact it hasn't been done for the older Inspire models won't preclude it being considered and implemented now.

I've had this Versa Life for years. Whilst clocking up hourly 250 steps I could display total daily steps and steps this hour on the same screen. In the last hour, somebody has taken it upon himself/herself to reorder my outputs from the order I can select them on set-up, which is daily steps then hourly steps, and pushed the latter way down the page.
I've tried deleting all the other options (now appearing between the two). This does indeed give me what I want and need particularly in the last couple of my daily hours. But then when I reapply the other outputs (that I do want, just not between daily steps and steps this hour.
Why? Just why? Who thought this stupid idea was worth forcing on us? Really?

I also can't understand the fact that when you scroll up you see notifications before exercise. I bought the inspire 2 to track my exercise not read my texts, I have a phone for that. I find it incredibly frustrating that exercise isn't the first options on an EXERCISE tracker
