Fitbit Inspire 2 - Sleep & Dominant Hand

Hi Community Team

I have been using Fitbit recently so I’m somewhat new but I’ve been a holding an account for quite some time. It was only recently that I got myself a Fitbit device

my queries are related to sleep and about the dominant hand

Firstly, in terms of sleep sensitivity, what exactly happens when the sleep sensitive mode is on rather than the normal mode?
In terms of Sleep what happens

Also I read that other features like steps will hence be also affected, how so?
What data will be shown through the sleep sensitive mode without premium option

Secondly- Dominant Hand

What is the difference in wearing it in either of the hands in all aspects/ areas including sleep

“ In sensitive mode, your device records nearly all movements as time spent restless or awake.”

Does that also apply and account for when I am awake and active too?
If I’m awake and active, will my sleep be recorded as such?
that’s all for now.

Sleep Sensitivity:  is irrelevant once out of bed.

From the section you quoted:  "For devices that record sleep patterns instead of sleep stages, you can set your device to track sleep in a normal or sensitive mode."  I think that is Fitbit's way of saying, 'if your fitbit model has heart-rate tracking, sleep sensitivity setting is ignored.'  Feel free to experiment to see if it seems to make a difference for you, but I don't think it should with heart rate tracking.

Dominant hand: If fitbit is worn on dominant hand, tries to filter out some pseudo-steps from activities of that hand that are not really steps, such as brushing teeth, combing hair, etc.  The only difference would be in step count.  I have no idea how much of a different it actually makes.  I wouldn't think it would make any difference in sleep unless you make extra movements of your dominant hand when asleep.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

what are some examples of data recorded on sleep sensitivity that’s not recorded in normal mode? What data will be shown through the sleep sensitive mode without premium option?
