I have had my FitBit Inspire for just under 10 months and it has been working great until today. The screen no longer will turn on. Sometimes I feel a vibrate when I receive a push notification on my phone and the Fitbit is plugged in but most times I don’t. I have had it sitting on the charger for over 8 hours today and it still has not turned on like usual. Is this typical for the Inspire??

Attach to charger. Hold button for 5 seconds. I did this and the screen came back.

I attached my Inspire HR to the charger and held the button in for 5 seconds. I did this three times in a row and the screen came back. But your advice worked! Thanks! 🙂

so far I've tried this 4 times without any success, though when I push the button it does vibrate briefly.

My Fitbit, which I got in January 2020, is doing the same thing and not responding to this suggestion. It also randomly shut the screen off to black. Only vibrates in response to its button being pressed.
