Hi, I had this issue with both a Charge 2 and my latest Inspire Heartrate. The first time it was a few months past warranty, and the customer service sent me a 50% off coupon for a new one. This time , It was 11 months old, and they are sending me a replacement, and if I wanted I could instead get a 50% off coupon. While I don't like to have to replace something every year, I've found the customer service to be helpful and pretty fair. Don't get them wet, even if they say swimproof. Both of mine started to have issues right after they got wet. Good Luck.
