Fitbit not counting steps accurately

I literally just bought this Fitbit, and it's not counting my steps. I already did a restart, as other threads suggested. Right now it's stuck on 308. I walk around with it on, and nothing changes. I'm seriously disappointed and considering returning it, especially as I see lots of other people are having the same problem, and I'm already having it within the first few hours of using it.

Thank you for confirming that you already tried to restart procedure and that you've been having trouble with the Fitbit device not counting your steps accurately. 

 

I've gone ahead and sent your information to the Customer Support team for further assistance with this, so you should be getting a reply soon.
