Ordered 2 Inspire HR today for wife and I. I'm tech savvy with OnePlus 5t on Android P. Wife, not so much. Nexus 5 on Marshmallow, with Windows 7 PC. I'll have no problems with money, what's recommended for hers?

2 accounts in my phone? Or 1 on my phone, and can she use Windows 7? Or Android 6.0?  I can set up on here's if compatible. Is phone app easier to use than PC? Just wanted to get started on the right direction. I've read about "dongles", but is that something you have to buy (or even need)?

No sensitivity setting. You need to learn how to move your wrist to get the best turn on rate.  I find a flick is not the best method. I start with my wrist horizontal amd move it deliberately to vertical, without flicking. That seems to work best for me.

Oh, amd I'm  glad it is working on your 5T 👍

Hi @tcat007  Well the One plus is not on theSupported Devices List while the Nexus is, so her phone should work, yours may not (or it might). Have you already tried setting up?

The windows 7 PC is unlikely to work (from my limited experience). Even on Windows 10 I have found syncing is patchy.

Anyway, check out the List linked above as that will give you the basic i formation on compatability.

Actually the question might be more whether it will run on your phone than on hers.

Here is an article and list of "approved" phones, though many phones not on the list also work fine.

Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?

The easiest solution is to have each user on own phone.  I would try that first and see if you can get that working.

If that doesn't work, then between putting both users on one phone or using PC, assuming you don't have another compatible tablet.

For using PC as sync device, if running Windows 10 with bluetooth, no dongle needed.

But running Windows 7 (or Windows 10 without bluetooth), dongle would be needed.  It has to be purchased separately, though not expensive.

The problem with having them both on same phone is that each user needs separate account.  So you would have to keep logging out of one account and into the other, but it can be done.

If you want to get ahead start, you could download the Fitbit app on each phone and set up account for each; that can be done without actually having a tracker yet.  Then when trackers arrive, go about adding the trackers to the accounts.

The procedure for getting set up is described in this article:

How do I set up my Fitbit device?

I feel I made that all sound more complicated than it really is, but trying to cover multiple situations.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thank you. Should work on both phones. I installed app on both, just waiting on Amazon delivery. Mine's a OnePlus 5t, I see OnePlus on the list.  Just wanted to make sure phones were the way to go.

As i said before the One plus may work or may not. You wont know until you try it. @JohnnyRow  is right - separate phones is easiest if you can.

Works fine on 5T.  Just wish it would display time for 5 or 6 seconds rather than 3.  Is there a sensitivity setting?  Mine shows time maybe 2 out if 3 wrist flicks.
