I just got my InspireHR a week ago and I can’t figure out how to use most of the settings. First, it’s not recording my workouts. Do I need to do something in the app before I workout? The workout symbols on the watch, the guy running & the guy standing on one leg, what are those for? They don’t swipe & the numbers make no sense.
I’m also confused by the calorie count as it said I had burned close to 500 calories before I even got out of bed this morning. 🤔

Lastly when I’m in the app, I can’t figure out any of the exercise indicators. When I went to weights, it was listing “laps” as the option. ??

My bpm is on the rise because I’m getting frustrated. 😤

Thanks for any help you can offer!

First - your calorie count - Fitbit estimates your Base Metabolic Rate (BMR) based on your stats (gender, age, height, weight). This is the energy you need to stay alive. The count begins at midnight and continues to add throughout the day (even if you don't wear your device). Any activity gets added to the BMR.

For the exercise - high energy exercises should track automatically. Look at the following link to the manual and scroll to page 32 to read about exercise tracking:

Thank you. I’ll check that out. Was there supposed to be instructions in the box with the Fitbit or are they only online?

The manual is only online. Much to big for a small box
